Today at the Shed, our crochet poppy creators were busy preparing to supply lots and lots of poppies in readiness for Remembrance Day. Each poppy is slightly different, (buttons, yarn shades, patterns vary), but all made with love and care. These poppies are being sold for $5 each, with proceeds going to both the Women’s Shed and the Branxton RSL. Keep an eye out around town for the next week or so and make sure you get one.
Next Thursday, we will only be at the Women’s Shed for a short time, before we head to our local service. We will be assembling at 10:30am at the Greta Cenotaph for a 10:45am sharp beginning.
